Cornell Box: L'amica Geniale

A Unity-based interactive diorama inspired by Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Novels. The project reimagines the world of Elena and Lila as a digital Cornell box filled with objects drawn from the books.

Visitors can click on objects mentioned in the novels to uncover fragments of the story. Some objects trigger audio readings of passages from the books, while others play clips from the television adaptation. By navigating between text, video, and 3D space, the project invites audiences to explore the narrative through memory, association, and discovery.

An experiment in literary adaptation, the work explores how a novel can be experienced as an interactive environment rather than a linear text.
